PROTIST2008

In July 2008 Dalhousie University hosted a combined meeting of the International Society of Protistologists (ISOP) and the International Society for Evolutionary Protistology (ISEP). ~200 people attended 'Protist2008', and we had a jam-packed program of contributed talks and posters anchored by excellent symposia on organelles in parasitic protozoa, protist phylogenomics, and advances in evolutionary protistology, as well as addresses or plenaries by Wilhelm Foissner, Julius Lukes, and Michael Gray.
