We are currently in the process of applying for funding for a large scale project studying the impact of the Internet and World Wide Web on religious participation in Canada.  The website www.farawaysoclose.ca will be used to present ongoing information about the research project, survey results, project updates, a research blog, and connections to Internet resources and religious based websites.

Once funded, www.farawaysoclose.ca will provide the general public, academics and also participants in the research project with access to the project research and results and also an online environment for networking about the impact of the Internet and World Wide Web on religious beliefs and practices.
