The Department of Classics at Dalhousie University will be hosting the Annual Meeting of the Atlantic Classical Association, on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, 2007.

The conference will open on Friday afternoon and feature a keynote address in the evening by Dr. Sabine MacCormack, Rev’d Dr Theodore M. Hesburg, C.S.C. Chair in Arts and Letters, Kellogg Institute of International Studies Fellow, and Professor of History, University of Notre Dame. Dr. MacCormack’s paper will be entitled  “Ways of Textual Exegesis: Augustine Thinks about the Book of Genesis.”
