Wanderweg Kennels is located in Eastern Canada in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia. We have shared our home with Bernese Mountain Dogs since 1990 and Leonbergers since 1999 and produced our first litter of Bernese puppies in 1993 and our first litter of Leonberger puppies in 2002.

Our kennel is committed to breeding wonderful Bernese Mountain Dogs and Leonbergers. We are a small hobby kennel and our dogs are our passion. We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada (BMDCC) and America (BMDCA), the Leonberger Club of Canada (LCC) and are a member kennel of the Leonberger Club of America (LCA). Our puppies are registered with the CKC and are fully health checked prior to going to their new homes. We breed for health, temperament, type, and soundness and of course beautiful looks. Our dogs are x-rayed for hip and elbow dysplasia and have their eyes checked prior to breeding. They also have exceptional temperaments.

Our dogs are cherished members of our family and our puppies are raised in the home and are occasionally available to loving homes. Our dogs are the 'loves of our lives' and we try to place our puppies into homes that will cherish every moment with their new canine friend.
