Research InterestsFor my Honours research, I am attempting to determine the swimming behaviour of Mercenaria mercenaria larvae in turbulence generated in the laboratory using an oscillating grid, and measured using particle image velocimetry. This is being done on young larvae (2 days old) before they're ready for settlement, and I'll try and compare what I find to what is known about their behaviour when they are ready for settlement.
