Welcome to Dalhousie’s Invasive Species Website. This site focuses on the spread of two recent invaders of Nova Scotia’s coastal waters: a seaweed - Codium fragile ssp. tomentosoides and a colonial invertebrate - Membranipora membranacea. Here you’ ll find information on what they are, where they are, how you can help monitor their spread, and lots more.
